1. I'm really excited about my classes. Because I started school without any credits, chose my major quick and never switched it, I've been able to take a lot of electives just for fun. This semester, I only needed 13 more credits to graduate, but I only had two more classes that I had to take. Sooo, in addition to my two sociology classes, I'm taking a guitar class, floral design, and family finance. I've also been going to a Photoshop class on Tuesdays and Thursdays (it's helped me so much!). I'm actually learning a lot on the guitar, I love taking pretty flower arrangements home each week, and family finance is the most practical class I've taken. Check out how purdy my flowers are (and my mama would be so proud I actually know the names of them)!
2. I need to find a new job since I'm about to graduate (more of a temporary one), so that search should be starting up soon. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
3. We bought a new car! Woohoo! Life is so much easier with two cars. We got a good deal on KSL on a black 2-door Honda Accord. I love it! And it's automatic--bonus! Check out this beauty!
4. My bestest friend Camille stayed with us for a couple weeks! The poor thing went home with the most ridiculous flight stories ever, but it was so worth it! I felt bad that Danny and I were so busy while she was with us, but she had plenty of people to see so everything worked out well. We hit all the necessary food places, went up to Danny's parent's house and played with the pups (they're getting so big!) and discovered the best movies on Netflix. She also taught me a bunch of cool stuff I can do with my camera and Photoshop--I'm excited to test it out! And of course I totally forgot to get a picture with her before she left (erg!), but here's a cute pic that she got of the pups!
5. I got a scholarship this semester! Definitely a first for me.
6. We've been doing a much better job working out recently! I feel so much better when I'm exercising. Danny's lost 10lbs in two weeks--what the heck guys lose weight so easily!
7. My little niece Chloe is getting huge! Look at this cutie. She looks just like her mama.
8. We bought our tickets to New Zealand!!!!!! I am way too excited. We leave July 25th out of LA and will be there for two weeks. Just the fact that it's New Zealand is exciting enough, but I can't wait to see all the family there, to meet all the people from Danny's mission, and to finally see the place where Danny lived for two years. Six months!
ahhh that is so exciting! new zealand! and i can't believe you're graduating! are we really that old? ha. oh. p.s. my husband got me an iphone too:) they're pretty fun too huh?
