So, since last time, here's what's been going on...

Turkey Bowl on Thanksgiving up at Danny's parent's house
Fun times playing with little brothers
First Christmas Tree :)
I successfully made my mother-in-law's delicious Island Pork Tenderloin with coconut rice! So good, one of my favorites.
My niece, Chloe was blessed in church.  This is my grandma holding her--I love seeing the different generations together.
Danny's parent's dog, Lola, had puppies! They thought there was only gonna be two, but there ended up being four! They're only two weeks old and their eyes are just starting to open--so precious!
We've also been able to go down to the see the Festival of Lights, get lots of Christmas shopping done, and watch the series Band of Brothers (highly recommended!).  We got to spend a weekend with Danny's family while all of his cousins were in town.  I think we packed about 23 people into the house that night.  A little crowded, but it made for a great game of Mafia!  We also got to steal a few of Danny's siblings for a couple of days.  Danny's little brother, Lawson, and his little sister, Madeline, came to a BYU Basketball game with us while they were down here. I was a little worried about the team since Jimmer's gone, but they're looking really good!

It feels so good to be done with the semester--finishing finals seriously makes me feel so accomplished! It's crazy that I've lived in Utah for 3 1/2 years and to think of all of the changes that have happened since moving here.  Only 13 credits left to go!  Anyway, we're just working for the next couple days, then we're headed to Delaware for Christmas!  Can't wait!

California

Sometimes you really just need to get out of Utah, and since we had almost a week and a half off for Thanksgiving break, we decided to head down to California before Thanksgiving day.  Danny's brother Matt and my friend Lindsay came down with us.  We left early Saturday morning and came back on Wednesday.  Surprisingly, leaving at 5am isn't so bad--the trip goes by a lot faster. We had such a fun time--a break like that is always necessary when you're in school.  We caught up with a lot of family, ate way too much, spent some time at the beach, and relaxed.

On the way down we stopped in Vegas to eat at one of my favorite Delaware sandwich shops.  I was so excited when I found out that there was a Capriotti's in Vegas.  Somehow it's grown out of Delaware and into the states all around there, then they decided to build a few in Vegas, and one even in St. George, Utah :)
One of the days we decided to go to the Long Beach Aquarium! I am a little kid when it comes to zoos and aquariums.  Seriously, ask my mom.  When I was little I plastered myself to the dolphin tank at the Baltimore Aquarium when we went.  The seals were my favorite thing at the Long Beach Aquarium though--hence the reason why I took so many pictures of them.  It's pretty tricky getting any kind of good pictures with the glass and reflections, but I managed to get a few.
The jellyfish were mesmerizing.
After the Aquarium we went over to check out the Queen Mary--it was huge! We really wanted to get on it and look around, but that would've been $30 a person-ridiculous.  Danny loves historical things though, so it was neat to even just look around.
I love the beaches in California--they're so different from the east coast.  The cliffs are so pretty, and if those beach houses weren't millions of dollars, we'd be there in a second.

It was an awesome break from life, and we will for sure be back to visit again asap!
