I did it!

I made a blog. I've been thinking about it for a while, and getting married last week just gave me the motivation for it.

Anyway, Danny and I got married last Saturday, April 23, and it was amazing!  After a year of dating and seven months of being engaged, we were definitely ready to finally be married.  With the help of everyone who was there, it turned out perfect! Danny's entire family (eight kids included) were able to come out, as well as my entire family.  The week before was definitely busy, but it was so good to be with so much family after such a long and stressful semester.  Even though the weather called for thunderstorms all day, we got lucky and had sun and 70s during the reception!

After the wedding, Danny and I went down to North Carolina for a much needed break from life.  The beach was beautiful down there! Even Danny admitted that maybe California beaches aren't the only good ones around ;)

We got back to Utah on Friday, moved into our apartment Friday night, and then had our second reception in Utah Saturday night.  It turned out to be so much fun! We did a lot of cultural things, including the Haka being performed (which may or may not have beat out the Haka we attempted in Delaware). So many people were able to make it to that reception--apparently people were having a hard time finding parking as the entire parking lot and street were filled--and it was so good to see everyone that made it!

Now we are both adjusting to real life again. Except this summer we get to subtract school, wedding plans, and the stresses of being engaged from our schedules! Hallelujah!  Anyway, married life is awesome, and we're now just looking forward to a fun and pretty stress-free summer :) I'll post pictures soon!
